Who I am
I'm Chris, a health and wellness coach who believes the most important relationship you'll ever build is the one with your own body. I don't mean a strict, all-or-nothing relationship. I mean a friendship: one where you check in, listen, and show up for yourself just as you would a friend.
My work rests on three simple practices: Pause. Listen. Practice. Pause long enough to notice where you are. Listen to what your body and your life are telling you. Then practice, gently and consistently, the small shifts that move you toward how you want to feel. I bring a light touch to deep conversations, because real change doesn't have to feel heavy to matter.
I'm an ICF-credentialed coach (ACC) currently working toward my National Board certification in health and wellness coaching, and a B.S. in Public Health at UMBC. I'm curious about the systems and spaces that shape our health, from how health behaviors stick to how the places we live in every day affect us. That curiosity has fueled Kitchen Chronicles, my in-person program that treats your kitchen as your most personal built environment. I don't teach cooking. Instead, I help you redesign your environment so it supports the way you want to live.
Each coaching relationship begins with a wellness vision: one or two sentences, starting with "I am" or "I feel," that we create together and come back to throughout our work. Mine is I am grounded, connected, and present in each moment. I'd love to help you find yours.
I live in Maryland with my husband, Sam, who is also my partner in creating Embers & Herbs, our food and lifestyle brand. When I'm not coaching or studying, you'll probably find me journaling, working out, trying a new restaurant, making something with my hands, or simply in the kitchen.
